5G scrutiny - Somerset County Council meeting 11th March 2020

Protestors attended the meeting in the Shire Hall in Taunton, Somerset on Wednesday March 11th 2020 speaking out against 5G, arguing that the technology could cause health complications and had major security shortcomings.

However representatives from public health and the telecoms industry stated that current guidelines were sufficient to protect the public.

There was a call for the council to look further into the 5G issue and report back later in the year.
